Summer Projects

In between waitressing and pool time this summer, I made a few little 'projects' for my classroom. In October I like to do 'Bat Week'. Here's my 3-fold poster that will be on display in my classroom:

Everything is hands-on

Bag contains 1,000 mosquitoes to represent how many mosquitoes a bat eats every night! ...This took some serious cutting!!

And then after reading an awesome book this summer, I just HAD to make one on the brain:
I can't wait to see their faces when they get a load of that pic of a REAL brain up there at the top!! :)

They can take the newspaper out and unfold it to get an idea of the actual size of the cerebral cortex!
