In between waitressing and pool time
this summer, I made a few little 'projects' for my classroom. In October I like
to do 'Bat Week'. Here's my 3-fold poster that will be on display in my
classroom:
Everything is hands-on
Bag contains 1,000 mosquitoes to
represent how many mosquitoes a bat eats every night! ...This took some serious
cutting!!
And then after reading an awesome book this summer, I just
HAD to make one on the brain:
I can't wait to see their faces when
they get a load of that pic of a REAL brain up there at the top!! :)
They can take the newspaper out and
unfold it to get an idea of the actual size of the cerebral cortex!
